Promotion project for added-value innovation in photovoltaic industry

This project will integrate the domestic photovoltaic (PV) industry and promote the development of key technologies. It aims to enhance the industrialization benefits of green energy technology R&D and extend the value chain to support the PV industry's expansion into international markets. The global PV market is increasingly focused on high-efficiency, large-scale products, and leading domestic companies are investing heavily in N-type high-efficiency M10 large-size solar cell technology. This project will encourage industry players to invest in related technological R&D and help overcome investment barriers to establish new production lines.

Due to limited domestic installation space, rooftop and ground-mounted PV systems are evolving toward diversified and integrated applications. This project will facilitate cross-industry collaboration between PV manufacturers and other sectors, identifying new demands in diverse PV application fields and developing innovative products to meet these needs, thereby boosting industrial added value.

To address new demands driven by net-zero carbon emission goals, this project will support PV companies in reducing carbon emissions during the production process and assist in conducting carbon footprint assessments of PV products. Additionally, the project will capitalize on global net-zero policies, the growing demand for low-carbon products, and Europe and U.S. de-risking strategies against red supply chains to help domestic companies expand into the global green energy market.
