Asian Productivity Organization Implementation Project

　　The project entrusted the China Productivity Center (CPC) to represent the Republic of China (ROC) as the national productivity organization in the Asian Productivity Organization (APO). CPC assists in implementing various international exchange programs and activities of APO, and actively participates in the annual session of the APO Governing Body (GBM) and the workshop meeting of heads of national productivity organizations (WSM). This engagement aims to strengthen ROC's relations with member countries and enhance productivity in the ROC and the Asia-Pacific region.

　　Additionally, the project supports two key APO Centers of Excellence. One is the APO Centers of Excellence on Green Productivity (APO COE on GP), which leads Green Technical Service Teams to member countries. These teams engage in technical exchanges and share ROC's advanced technologies, especially in areas like energy-saving technologies and the circular economy, to align with the specific needs of target member countries. The initiative fosters business opportunities between domestic and international manufacturers, further amplifying ROC's influence.

　　The other is the APO COE on Smart Manufacturing (APO COE on SM), which collaborates with national policies by inviting smart manufacturing technology exchange groups to target member countries. These groups conduct technical exchanges on topics such as the Internet of Things and smart machinery, promoting knowledge and technology transfer. The goal is to assist member countries in adopting smart production and management models, advancing toward Industry 4.0, while also strengthening bilateral relations between ROC and the member countries.
