Circular Economy Promotion and Innovation Management Project
Circular economy is one of the key 5+2 Industrial Innovation Programs promoted by the government. Executive Yuan has started implementing the “Circular Economy Promotion Program” (hereinafter referred to as the “program”) since 2018, and the Ministry of Economic Affairs has established the “Circular Economy Promotion Office” as the single point of contact for the program. The office holds recurring regular and irregular meetings to coordinate and integrate inter-departmental support and resources. As needed, the office reports to the Executive Yuan to coordinate the promotion of circular economy industrialization and assist industries in transforming towards a circular economy to continuously strengthen global competitiveness.
The Ministry of Economic Affairs is in charge of program development and assessment of program effectiveness based on industry demand and market trends. The program is consistently reviewed and actively promoted to achieve maximum results.
