LED Industrial Upgrading and Emerging Application Promotion Plan

Taiwan’s LED industries are known for the competitive advantages of high quality in global scale . The impact of the global economy and rapid changes in markets as well as the niche demand for global smart applications and trending issues on net-zero emission leads to rapid development of LED energy-saving, lighting, and display products. In facing of the rise of smart technology and the restructuring of the international supply chain resulting from geopolitical factors, domestic manufacturers have actively deployed in emerging application markets in recent years.

The plan promotes LED interdisciplinary application upgrade and industry innovation transformation. With regards to interdisciplinary cooperation and upgrade, the plan assists suppliers to upgrade advanced backlight, ESG lighting design, LED lighting and display for vehicles, and thereby, upgrades LED diverse applications to a new horizon. In the aspects of industry and environmental development, the plan is analyzing the domestic and international indicators of momentum in LED suppliers, promoting the upgrade of micro-LED manufacturing technology, strengthening advanced applications, and driving the industries to invest in Taiwan for expanding business opportunities globally and boosting the green economic value of Taiwan’s LED industry.
