Development of Promoting Biomedical and Precision Healthcare Industry and Facilitating Cross-National Collaboration

This project aims to accelerate the development of the domestic biomedical industry by connecting domestic and international policy resources and providing a one-stop-shop service. It helps the industry overcome development barriers and facilitates R&D, technological advancements, and other business collaborations between domestic and international enterprises.

Additionally, the project focuses on investment promotion by encouraging the development of competitive and innovative niche products through investment facilitation, business matchmaking, and international cooperation initiatives. It seeks to deepen exchanges with regions such as Europe, the United States, and the Asia-Pacific to integrate Taiwan's biomedical industry into the global market and expand exports.

Furthermore, the project continues to promote the Act for the Development of Biotech and Pharmaceutical Industry by offering tax incentives and leveraging Taiwan’s internationally competitive medical and ICT capabilities. These efforts aim to attract investment, enhance international collaboration, and strengthen global resource integration, fostering international business opportunities. The ultimate goal is to accelerate the development and globalization of Taiwan’s precision health industry, enhancing the global competitiveness of Taiwan’s biotech and pharmaceutical sectors.

At the same time, the project provides tax incentives for the biomedical industry. It maintains the digital platform for the Act for the Development of Biotech and Pharmaceutical Industry, offering businesses assistance with applications, regulatory compliance, and consultation services.
