1. The Ministry of Economic Affairs' "Industrial Upgrading Innovation Platform Mentoring Program" includes the thematic R&D program known as the "Industrial Low-Carbon Transformation Promotion Program." This initiative has successfully granted 10 subsidies aimed at encouraging industry investment in low-carbon application solutions, resulting in an estimated annual reduction of 200,000 tons of carbon emissions.
2. In addition, the program has provided guidance to 10 sub-manufacturers, assisting them in adopting low-carbon solutions such as materials and processes. This effort has culminated in the establishment of a strategic alliance within the low-carbon industry and the development of a comprehensive low-carbon industry supply chain.
3. Furthermore, the program has conducted a total of 20 consultations on low-carbon technology with various manufacturers. It has offered technical resources and tailored improvement plans based on each manufacturer's specific needs, while also facilitating access to government subsidies when deemed appropriate.
4. The program's comprehensive approach extends to the production of relevant reports. These reports encompass analyses of carbon reduction technologies for processes ranging from C1 to C6 in the international low-carbon market for the petrochemical industry. They also delve into the assessment of carbon footprints for both low-carbon and existing technologies. Moreover, the program conducts in-depth research on emerging low-carbon business models both domestically and abroad, as well as on the influence of green finance on the petrochemical industry.
5. To foster a vibrant community of low-carbon technology pioneers, the program has orchestrated a total of seven meetings and seminars. These events serve as platforms for industrial players to exchange insights and collaborate on advancing low-carbon technologies.
