The Upgrading and Promotion Project of Taiwan-Made Products

To make it easier for consumers to identify and purchase high-quality Made in Taiwan (MIT) products, the "MIT Smile Logo" initiative was launched in 2010. It verifies products that meet identification of product origin and quality certification and awards them the MIT Smile Logo.
To further encourage businesses to enhance the quality of MIT (Made in Taiwan) products, the "MIT Taiwan Gold Selection" Award has been organized since year 2014. This event has selected a total of 563 gold-selected products with aesthetics, quality, carbon reduction and high cost-effectiveness. These selected products may focus on marketing and promotion efforts. Additionally, this project has facilitated the collaboration of 55 virtual and physical retail channels becoming MIT Smile Partner Stores, where sell MIT Smile products. The cumulative annual sales have reached 2 billion NTD and has significantly contributed to the development of local industries.
