Development of Promoting Biomedical and Precision Healthcare Industry and Facilitating Cross-National Collaboration

I. Precision health value-added Service 1. Provide consultation for 35 cases through the One-Stop Service platform, including support for 5 cases involving technical, regulatory, clinical validation, or process improvement challenges, enhancing product development efficiency and industry competitiveness. 2. Accumulate a total investment scale of NTD 55.087 billion, contributing to a robust industrial ecosystem. 3. Promote cross-sector investment by connecting companies to government funding, venture capital, tax incentives, and R&D subsidies, resulting in a cumulative investment value of NTD 32.149 billion. 4. Host 1 investment briefing for the biomedical and precision health industries. 5. Facilitate 2 collaborations to overcome technical or regulatory barriers in commercialization, supporting development or clinical validation in pharmaceuticals. 6. Organize 1 seminar on technology/products and market opportunities for the biomedical or precision health industry. 7. Organize 1 themed showcase to promote Taiwan’s biomedical achievements. 8. Organize 1 cross-disciplinary seminar on technology/product development and market opportunities in response to global supply chain trends. 9. Facilitate 1 cross-disciplinary collaboration, aiming to achieve tangible benefits such as capital introduction, technological cooperation, or product development

II. International Cooperation and Exploitation for the Biomedical and Precision Health Industry 1. Organize 3 thematic international seminars, facilitating 1 international collaboration, and securing NTD 5 million in orders. 2. Facilitate 1 case of international companies selecting projects in Taiwan. 3. Organize 2 industry business opportunity exchange meetings/forums between international biomedical companies/institutions and domestic companies. 4. Facilitate at least 1 strategic alliance between domestic and international organizations. 5. Lead at least 19 companies to participate in BioJapan, arranging matchmaking for 12 companies and achieving 1 international collaboration. 6. Organize a delegation of over 42 companies/institutions to attend BIO 2025, establishing a Taiwan Pavilion to enhance global visibility. 7. Facilitate 1 collaboration with an international organization in a testing field, helping companies establish localized applications and market entry mechanisms.

III. Biomedical industry policy promotion sub-project 1. Organize or assist private entities in hosting 2 biotechnology and pharmaceutical industry-related forums or seminars. 2. Conduct 1 industry survey assessing the status of applied biotechnology sectors and analyze market trends. 3. Publish the "2025 Biotechnology Industry White Paper." It will convene 2 review committee meetings and print 400 copies to provide valuable reference materials for the domestic industry, government, academia, and research sectors. 4. Conduct 1 review and audit operation for the Human Research Ethics Review Committee. 5. In alignment with the AIDS prevention and awareness campaign, the program will conduct 44 promotional activities and publish 9 advocacy articles in business-related print media. 6. Perform supporting tasks for the industry task force and convene 2 task force committee meetings. 7. Timely updating and maintaining 45 pieces of information on the global website of the Biotechnology and Pharmaceutical Industry Promotion Office, Ministry of Economic Affairs. 8. Assist with 12 cases of system consultation and operation for the investment tax credit system. 9. Assist in organizing 8 meetings related to the Act for the Development of the Biotech and Pharmaceutical Industry. 10. Complete 101 ad hoc tasks related to the development of the biomedical industry.
