To facilitate the transformation of traditional industries, Ministry of Economic Affairs set up the Central Region Traditional Industry Service Corp. ARTC, a group member, assists the government to promote the policy of industrial upgrading and transformation. ARTC provides counseling services to auto industry, auto parts industry, and automotive electronics industry. Benefited from this type of assistance and promotion, WHETRON, MICROLIGHT, and GIVING participate in TAIPEI AMPA and AutoTronics Taipei, to display the latest products for potential buyers.

According to statistics by IHS's automotive research department, autopilot industry will likely have drastic growth between 2025 and 2035. The sales forecast of global auto drive cars will be close to 21 million units by 2035. Taiwan has already built a complete supply chain in the Advanced Driving Assistance System (ADAS). During the exhibition, ARTC also set 10 scenarios for the advanced driving assistance technologies at Nangang Exhibition Center in Taipei. It was the first time that people could experience auto drive vehicle.

TAIPEI AMPA is the largest professional auto parts exhibition in Taiwan. It has become the event that domestic manufacturers would participate every year. AutoTronics Taipei is the first professional automotive electronics exhibition in Asia, and gathers Taiwan’s autotronic industry chain at one venue. There are 998 domestic manufacturers and 155 foreign manufacturers attending TAIPEI AMPA and AutoTronics Taipei.
